How much does an esports event cost in Sabah?
Sim racing event setups start from RM1,000 per day for one professional rig with onsite crew. Multi-rig bundles cost less per rig (2 rigs from RM1,900/day, 3 from RM2,700/day), rentals start from RM500 per set per day, and full custom event productions are quoted per proposal on WhatsApp.
Is AKG Esports team building really HRDC claimable?
Yes. AKG Esports is licensed to run HRDC-claimable esports team building programs, so Malaysian companies registered with HRD Corp can fund the program through their existing levy instead of their operating budget.
What games can you run tournaments for?
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG Mobile, Tekken 8, eFootball and Gran Turismo 7 sim racing - with brackets, live timing, leaderboards, casters, live streaming and prize management handled end to end.
Do you cover areas outside Kota Kinabalu?
Yes. We deliver events across all of Sabah - Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, Tawau, Keningau, Kota Marudu and beyond - with transport, setup and onsite crew included in your quote.
How far in advance should I book?
For weekend activations and rentals, 1, 2 weeks is usually enough. For tournaments and multi-day corporate or government events, we recommend 3, 4 weeks so we can plan brackets, streaming and site logistics properly.
